JTS UF-20S – True Diversity Wideband Wireless Receiver (CH38)
Free Delivery for orders over £150 (order by 3.30pm Mon-Fri).
The JTS UF-20S is the single-channel wideband true diversity receiver in JTS's flagship UF-20 series — bringing the extraordinary 60–75MHz bandwidth, REMOSET remote management capability, and 200–480 metre operating range of the UF-20 platform to single-channel applications. Currently available in CH38, it is the definitive single-channel receiver for demanding professional environments.
Like its dual-channel sibling the UF-20R, the UF-20S spans virtually the entire UHF spectrum from 470–960MHz, providing up to 3,000 selectable frequencies and outstanding future-proofing against spectrum refarming. The JTS LCX circuit design delivers extremely low companding noise for transparent, natural audio reproduction, while true diversity reception on two antenna paths ensures continuous, dropout-free operation as performers move through the coverage area.
REMOSET technology allows the operator to remotely set the transmitter's frequency, RF output power, sensitivity, low cut filter, key lock, and user name from the receiver front panel — without physically touching the transmitter. Built-in cascading power and antenna distribution allows multiple UF-20S or UF-20R units to be interconnected without additional splitter equipment.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the UF-20S and the UF-20R?
The UF-20S is a single-channel receiver, while the UF-20R is dual-channel. Both share the same wideband architecture, REMOSET capability, and operating range. The UF-20S is ideal for single-channel applications where the UF-20R's second channel is not required, or as a starting point for a system that can be expanded by adding more UF-20S or UF-20R units via cascade distribution.
What transmitters are compatible with the UF-20S?
The UF-20S is compatible with the JSS-20 dynamic handheld transmitter and the UF-20TB bodypack transmitter — both UF-20 series products. It is not compatible with RU-G3 series transmitters (RU-G3TH, RU-G3 TB).
Can I mix UF-20S and UF-20R receivers in the same system?
Yes — UF-20S and UF-20R receivers share the same cascade distribution system, allowing them to be interconnected in mixed configurations to build systems of 3, 5, or any number of channels as required.
Does this receiver require a UK wireless licence?
Yes — the UF-20S operates on CH38 (606.5–642MHz) which requires a shared PMSE licence for UK operation. Contact Ofcom or JFMG for details.
