JTS RU-G3 TB + CM-501 – Bodypack Wireless Transmitter System
Free Delivery for orders over £150 (order by 3.30pm Mon-Fri).
The JTS RU-G3 TB + CM-501 is a complete hands-free wireless system combining the RU-G3 TB UHF bodypack transmitter with the CM-501 omnidirectional condenser lavalier microphone — delivering discreet, reliable audio capture for presenters, fitness instructors, performers, and anyone who needs to move freely without a handheld microphone.
The RU-G3 TB bodypack transmitter is built to professional standards — a compact, lightweight metal enclosure with 200 selectable UHF frequencies, REMOSET U one-touch synchronisation, and adjustable RF output power. The recessed control layout prevents accidental setting changes during active use, while the clear backlit LCD keeps battery and RF status visible at all times. The locking 4-pin connector ensures the CM-501 lavalier cable cannot accidentally disconnect during performance.
The CM-501 omnidirectional condenser lavalier microphone provides natural, intelligible speech reproduction whether worn at the lapel, hairline, or positioned on clothing. Its small capsule profile makes it virtually invisible under stage lighting, while the flexible mounting allows precise positioning for consistent pickup. Available in CH38 (606.5–642MHz, shared PMSE licence required) or CH65/CH70 (823–865MHz, includes licence-free 863–865MHz band).

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the CM-501 microphone suitable for?
The CM-501 is an omnidirectional condenser lavalier microphone suited to speech reinforcement, presentation, theatre, and fitness instruction. Its omnidirectional pickup pattern means it captures audio consistently regardless of slight positional changes — ideal for active presenters and performers.
Can I use a different lavalier or headset microphone with the RU-G3 TB?
Yes — the RU-G3 TB accepts any microphone with a compatible 4-pin locking connector. JTS produces a range of compatible lavalier and headset microphones. Please contact us for advice on compatible accessories.
Which receivers is the RU-G3 TB compatible with?
The RU-G3 TB is compatible with all JTS RU-G3 series receivers — including the RU-901G3, RU-8011DB, and RU-901G3Du — as long as the transmitter and receiver are on the same frequency band.
Does the CH65/CH70 version require a UK licence?
The CH65/CH70 variant covers 823–865MHz. Operation in the 863–865MHz licence-free band requires no licence. Operation in the wider 823–862MHz range requires a shared PMSE licence. The CH38 variant always requires a shared PMSE licence.
