Frequency

The JTS RU-901G3Du is a professional dual-channel true diversity receiver that brings exceptional RF reliability to installations and live environments at a genuinely accessible price point. As the dual-channel version of the acclaimed RU-901G3, it delivers all the performance of its single-channel sibling across two independent channels simultaneously — each with full true diversity reception.

Built to 1U 19" rackmount standard, the RU-901G3Du features integral antenna and power cascade outputs, making it straightforward to build larger multi-channel systems without the cost and complexity of additional distribution equipment. The third-generation true diversity architecture continuously monitors both antenna paths and selects the stronger signal, eliminating the dropouts and dead spots that plague lesser systems in real-world RF environments.

Available in two UK frequency variants: CH38 (606.5–642MHz) requiring a shared PMSE licence; and CH65/CH70 (823–865MHz) which covers both the CH65 band (823–832MHz, licence-exempt from 29 April 2026) and the CH70 licence-free band (863–865MHz) — allowing operation across both bands without any licence requirement. REMOSET U synchronisation allows one-touch setting of frequency, sensitivity, RF power, and other transmitter parameters from the receiver itself — no need to handle the transmitter during setup or performance.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the RU-901G3Du different from the RU-901G3?

The RU-901G3Du is the dual-channel version of the RU-901G3, providing two independent true diversity channels in a single 1U rackmount unit. It also adds integral antenna and power cascade outputs, making it far more practical for multi-channel system building than running two separate single-channel receivers.

Can I expand beyond two channels using this receiver?

Yes — the integral cascade outputs allow multiple RU-901G3Du units to share antenna and power distribution without additional splitter equipment, making it straightforward to build 4, 6, 8 or more channel systems cost-effectively.

Does the CH65/CH70 version require a licence in the UK?

No — the CH65/CH70 variant covers 823–865MHz, which is now fully licence-exempt in the UK. CH65 (823–832MHz) became licence-exempt on 29 April 2026 following Ofcom's updated exemption regulations, and CH70 (863–865MHz) has always been licence-free. No licence or registration is required to operate on either band. The CH38 variant (606.5–642MHz) requires a shared PMSE licence from Ofcom.

What transmitters are compatible with the RU-901G3Du?

The RU-901G3Du is compatible with the full JTS RU-G3 series transmitter range, including the RU-G3TH handheld transmitter and RU-G3 TB bodypack transmitter, as long as they operate on the same frequency band.
