The half-rack format makes the RU-901G3 easy to integrate into existing equipment setups with an optional rack mount kit, while the balanced XLR and unbalanced jack outputs provide flexibility for both professional and semi-professional audio systems. Available in CH38 (606.5–642MHz, shared PMSE licence) or CH65/CH70 (823–865MHz, includes licence-free 863–865MHz band). What transmitters are compatible with the RU-901G3?
The RU-901G3 is compatible with the JTS RU-G3TH condenser handheld transmitter and the RU-G3 TB bodypack transmitter, as long as the transmitter and receiver are on the same frequency band. It is not compatible with UF-20 series transmitters (JSS-20, UF-20TB).
Does the CH65/CH70 version require a UK licence?
Operation in the 863–865MHz licence-free band requires no licence. Operation across the wider 823–862MHz range requires a shared PMSE licence. The CH38 variant always requires a shared PMSE licence.
