JTS RU-901G3 – True Diversity Single Channel Wireless Receiver
Free Delivery for orders over £150 (order by 3.30pm Mon-Fri).
The JTS RU-901G3 is a professional single-channel true diversity UHF receiver that delivers outstanding RF reliability at a genuinely accessible price point. As the single-channel version of the acclaimed RU-901G3 series, it brings JTS's proven third-generation true diversity architecture to single-channel applications — ideal for venues, performers, and installations requiring dependable wireless audio from one microphone channel.
True diversity reception uses two independent antenna inputs and two independent receiver modules simultaneously, continuously selecting the stronger signal path to eliminate dropouts and dead spots — a more rigorous approach than simple antenna switching. REMOSET Ultrasonic technology allows one-touch synchronisation of frequency, gain, and ID between receiver and transmitter, while automatic channel scan quickly identifies the cleanest available frequency in any RF environment.
The half-rack format makes the RU-901G3 easy to integrate into existing equipment setups with an optional rack mount kit, while the balanced XLR and unbalanced jack outputs provide flexibility for both professional and semi-professional audio systems. Available in CH38 (606.5–642MHz, shared PMSE licence) or CH65/CH70 (823–865MHz, includes licence-free 863–865MHz band). This listing is for the receiver only — compatible transmitters available separately.

Frequently Asked Questions
What transmitters are compatible with the RU-901G3?
The RU-901G3 is compatible with the JTS RU-G3TH condenser handheld transmitter and the RU-G3 TB bodypack transmitter, as long as the transmitter and receiver are on the same frequency band. It is not compatible with UF-20 series transmitters (JSS-20, UF-20TB).
How does the RU-901G3 differ from the RU-8011DB?
Both are single-channel true diversity receivers in the RU-G3 series. The RU-8011DB is sold as a complete system with a RU-G3TH handheld transmitter included. The RU-901G3 is sold as a receiver only, making it suitable for building custom single-channel systems with your choice of RU-G3 series transmitter.
Can I rack mount the RU-901G3?
The RU-901G3 is a half-rack format receiver. An optional rack mount kit is available from JTS that allows it to be installed in a standard 19" rack — either as a single unit or with a second RU-901G3 side by side in 1U.
Does the CH65/CH70 version require a UK licence?
Operation in the 863–865MHz licence-free band requires no licence. Operation across the wider 823–862MHz range requires a shared PMSE licence. The CH38 variant always requires a shared PMSE licence.
