Frequency

Trusted by sound engineers and venue operators across the UK, the JTS RU-8011DB is a single-channel UHF wireless system that consistently delivers where it matters most — reliable, professional audio night after night. Combining the RU-8011DB true diversity receiver with the RU-G3TH condenser handheld transmitter, this is a complete, ready-to-use wireless system suited to a wide range of live and installed applications.

The receiver features REMOSET U synchronisation, allowing the transmitter and receiver to wirelessly sync frequencies in under a second — eliminating manual frequency matching and saving valuable setup time. With 200 selectable UHF frequencies across 6 groups and automatic frequency scan, finding a clean operating channel is fast and straightforward even in RF-busy environments.

Available in two UK frequency variants: CH38 (606.5–642MHz) for shared licence use; and CH65/CH70 (823–865MHz), which includes the licence-free 863–865MHz band for immediate operation without licensing administration.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this system require a licence to operate in the UK?

It depends on which frequency variant you choose. The CH65/CH70 version (823–865MHz) includes the 863–865MHz licence-free band, which can be operated anywhere in the UK without a licence. The CH38 version (606.5–642MHz) requires a shared licence from Ofcom via the PMSE shared licence scheme.

How many of these systems can be used simultaneously?

Multiple CH38 systems can be coordinated simultaneously depending on local frequency availability. On CH65/70, up to 3 systems can typically be operated simultaneously in the licence-free 863–865MHz band. For larger multi-system setups, CH38 with a shared licence is recommended.

What microphone capsule does the RU-G3TH use?

The RU-G3TH features the SC-8 electret condenser capsule, delivering extended frequency response and high sensitivity — suited to both vocal performance and speech reinforcement.

Can I use the RU-G3TH transmitter with a different JTS receiver?

Yes — the RU-G3TH is compatible with the full JTS RU-G3 series receivers including the RU-901G3 and RU-901G3Du, as long as they operate on the same frequency band.

What outputs does the receiver have?

The RU-8011DB features one balanced XLR output and one unbalanced 6.3mm jack output, compatible with both professional mixing consoles and simpler PA setups.
