Available in two UK frequency variants: CH38 (606.5–642MHz) for shared licence use; and CH65/CH70 (823–865MHz), which includes the licence-free 863–865MHz band for immediate operation without licensing administration.

Does this system require a licence to operate in the UK?
It depends on which frequency variant you choose. The CH65/CH70 version (823–865MHz) includes the 863–865MHz licence-free band, which can be operated anywhere in the UK without a licence. The CH38 version (606.5–642MHz) requires a shared licence from Ofcom via the PMSE shared licence scheme.
How many of these systems can be used simultaneously?
Multiple CH38 systems can be coordinated simultaneously depending on local frequency availability. On CH65/70, up to 3 systems can typically be operated simultaneously in the licence-free 863–865MHz band. For larger multi-system setups, CH38 with a shared licence is recommended.
